Yesterday, at Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST), we celebrated the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding between KCST and InnoEnergy Masters+, proudly represented in the GCC by HUB2ENERGY.
We had the honor of delivering the opening remarks, where CEO António Campos shared this message:
“In innovation, as in energy, there are no borders. And with this MoU, Kuwait and Europe are once again aligned in purpose and ambition — one home for what’s next.”
This MoU goes beyond academic exchange. It’s a platform for co-developing curricula, advancing applied research, building real-world energy leadership across two continents and helping shape a regional ecosystem capable of driving clean tech adoption and building future energy systems.
Because the future of energy isn’t just about oil and gas, renewables, nuclear, or infrastructure — It’s about people.
You can’t deploy the energy the world needs without engineers, scientists, and policy leaders who understand complexity — and can lead through it.
We were honored to share the stage with:
H.E. Ambassador Anne Koistinen, EU Ambassador to Kuwait, whose keynote highlighted the power of academic diplomacy
Dr. Khalid Al-Begain, President of KCST, for his leadership in science and innovation
Sebastian Frattina, representing InnoEnergy Masters+, who spoke on global academic collaboration and clean tech leadership
